When I send ODS HTML email to Outlook 2007, it is ugly. After a lot of research, I finally found the answer on the SAS Support site.

If you use ODS HTML – Outlook cannot interpret the code correctly and thus provides “different” (they meant ugly, unacceptable, weird, don’t show your boss) output. The solution is very simple, instead of using HTML, use the MSOffice2K tagset and the email will be “displayed much better” (they meant pretty, acceptable, beauty pageant winner).
