April. What a month it has been and it isn’t over yet. At the beginning of the month, we launched a new and very different communities.sas.com. Just yesterday, the SASware Ballot moved from its traditional voting application to the community. …

SAS Global Forum: Orlando, Here I Come! I’m so Pumped!!
SAS Global Forum 2012 starts this coming Sunday in the happiest place on earth – Disney World. I’m so excited. You may have already read some of things I’m planning to do and papers I’m planning to see and even some background on the SAS BI and Google Analytics paper that Angela and I are presenting. By the way, SAS Press is giving away a copy of the Building Business Intelligence book during our talk and three more during the SAS Talks via Twitter on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am EST. You can join the SAS Talks here. Check out All the Buzz!!! Here’s my latest video blog at AllAnalytics.Com about the SAS Global forum. Like my screen capture? Am I getting ready to kiss the monitor or spit out my gum? Anyway – leave a comment at the All Analytics site if you watch the video. (Appreciate you!) Check out these excellent posts from some of the coolest people I know: All Analytics editor Beth Schultz, provides a great overview in the On the Road to SAS Global Forum. She helps you understand why we are all so excited! Angela Hall, my wonderful co-author, invites you to meet up at SAS […]
SAS Tech Talks LIVE from SAS Global Forum

I am in countdown mode, in about a week I will be heading to SAS Global Forum 2012. As a SAS Instructor for over fourteen years, I have been to several conferences but never one in Orlando. I am excited for the busy forum that awaits. Sunday afternoon …
Graphs are easy with SAS 9.3
ODS Graphics have matured. With SAS 9.2, GTL and SG procedures were a new direction for creating analytical graphs in SAS. The motivation and design of the GTL framework and the SG procedures was driven primarily by the needs of the procedure writers…
Try the sampler platter at SAS Global Forum
I’m a sucker for the sampler platter at restaurants – it gives you a little taste of everything. “The crispy, gooey cheese sticks are delicious, but man, I really want more of the chicken skewers as my meal,” is typically how my thought process goes. S…
The Heme-finder: Where I’ll be during SAS Global Forum
I’m sorry to say that there will be no “Dummies around Me” smart phone app for SAS Global Forum this year. That means that if you want to catch up with me, you’ll have to do it the old-fashioned way: plan to be in the same place that I am, […]
